TODD ROGERS "GOLDEN" VOLLEYBALL CAMP
The very popular volleyball camps hosted by the 2008 Beach Volleyball Gold Medalist returns to Solvang Recreation. Camp will be held this December. The exact location, ages & costs, specific dates and times are still to be determined. Registration begins October 1 at Solvang Parks & Rec. Study the game with the "Professor."

The Halloween Haunt Returns to Solvang for its 15th Anniversary!

Solvang Rec's epic Halloween Haunted House is back for two nights at the glorious Solvang Theatrefest. This wildly popular community event has drawn thousands & thousands of brave souls and millions of terrified screams over the years. This year's Haunt, Clown Town, will take the happy visitors behind the scenes of the beloved circus and fair complete with "freakish" carneys, the world's largest gorilla, and other funhouse sights and sounds. You do not want to miss this special 15th Anniversary of the Haunt!!
Volunteers and donations (in-kind and cash) to help with the production of the haunt are always greatly appreciated. Monsters (14 & up) are also needed. If you would like to help in this terror-ific event please contact Fred or Kyle at 688-7529.
SUNNY FIELDS PARK IMPROVEMENTS
The City of Solvang is moving forward to complete the remaining landscape and hardscape improvements. There will be extensive planting of trees & shrubs, new shade structures and picnic areas plus a walking path circling the entire park. BUELLTON COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTER
This brand new community center, located on the Jonata School campus, is a joint venture between the City of Buellton and the Buellton Union School District. The facility includes a full size gymnasium, exercise/weight room, activity/meeting rooms, and full kitchen. Stay tuned for a full menu of program offerings at the Rec Center and more information on renting space for community functions.

ADULT BASKETBALL 3 X 3
It's time to start practicing your jumpers. Games are scheduled to start late September or early October on Sunday nights at the new Buellton Rec Center at the Jonata School campus in Buellton! Register your team by September 17. Each team can carry six persons on a roster. Cost per team is just $135.
ADULT COED VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE
Volleyball is as popular as ever with America's three gold and one silver medal at the 2008 Olympics. Come join the excitement! Play is Monday and Wednesday nights starting September 22-November 12. Please register by September 8. Cost is $300 per team. Two leagues are generally offered depending upon the number of teams registered.
