In an effort minimize impacts to the Solvang Downtown business community, sidewalk repair is scheduled to be completed at night between the hours of 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
JJ Fisher Construction, under contract with the City of Solvang, will be performing this work. The contractor will make every effort to minimize noise during these hours. It is anticipated that the use of concrete saws and jack hammers during the beginning of the work will be required. Additionally, the backup alarms on vehicles are required by OSHA and cannot be deactivated.
