The City of Solvang is seeking applicants to fill two vacancies on the Tourism & Marketing Advisory Committee (TMAC). Open seats in the Wine Industry and Lodging sectors will serve the remainder of the term through December 2025.
About TMAC
TMAC advises City staff on tourism and marketing programs that support Solvang’s economy. Members provide input on strategies to enhance Solvang’s visibility, strengthen its role as a destination, and ensure efforts benefit both residents and businesses.
Sector Representation
Wine Industry – Represents wineries, tasting rooms, and related businesses, ensuring the sector’s perspective is reflected in marketing efforts.
Lodging – Represents hotels, inns, and other accommodations, providing insight on visitor trends and the guest experience.
Commitment
TMAC meets once per month. Members are expected to participate actively and bring forward the needs of their sector.
